AAUP CZ z.s. (Association of American University Programs in the Czech Republic)
was founded to
- Represent American universities and study abroad programs of tertiary education in the Czech Republic
- Develop contacts between its own members and corresponding Czech cultural and educational entities
- Represent the common interests of Association members before public and private bodies and agencies
- Promote and support academic standards
- Provide a mechanism for collecting and disseminating information about or of importance to the members
- Organize regular meetings of members and other interested bodies
- Liaise with other organizations such as EAIE and national associations of American universities and university programs in Europe
- Liaise with the Embassy of the United States and the appropriate Czech government departments
